RGZ-91B Re-GZ リ・ガズィ

It's been a while since the last post, today I will review the Re-GZ in the Char's Counter Attack set.

Re-GZ comes with pretty much all the essential weapons, melee, projectile, shield, but nothing very fancy.  In a way this is close to the movie's setting.

Re-GZ from the front.  The green color on is skirt is mixed with white, green and blue, I think it matches the original color quite nicely.

The shield is nice and big, it covers most of the body, I love the clear stickers that comes with this box set, too.

The sword is in a very unique shape.

Time to "transform" to the BWS mode, first remove the backpack....

TRIPPED forward, BWS mode completed!  X-D

Notice there's no BB gun or missile gun for this kit, that is because.............

The spring loaded mechanism is in the BWS, in this case the BWS IS the bullet!

Let's see how far can this go.  Ready, aim....

Shoot!  Errrr, this thing is hard to aim as hell.

MSN-04 Sazabi サザビー

Sazabi has always been one of my favorite MS since I was a kid.  I like the body frame, coloring, and the pilot Char is simply an awesome character.  The BB senshi kit is also VERY easy to paint, which makes it that much better for me.

 Sazabi has all the basic needs in his weaponry,  melee weapon, shield and a spring loaded gun!

 Armed and dangerous.  Notice the red on his shield is in a different shade of red, painting red on black is difficult, trying to match the color is just way too much for me, so i will just leave it in this state.

 Missed!  I guess i need more practice for this.

MSN-03 Jagd Doga ヤグト ドーガ

The next candidate in this set is Jagd Doga. This is the new type only MS, too bad it doesn't mean it is actually any stronger in SD. In the SD world, the spring gun is EVERYTHING. >:-D

We have an extra head because the pink version does not exist in the original BB Senshi line. Bandai decided to leave the old head and give us a new head for the pink unit for compatibility's sake. Other then that, Jagd Doga has a pretty dry arsenal. Only a shield and a gun, not even a close range weapon..... ;_;

 This is the main(ONLY?) weapon, I guess it's some sort of bazooka.

 Quess's MS comes with a Gatling gun, but this one can't shoot bullet.

 Duel wield, looks deadly, but still only one gun in reality.

 Couldn't see the eye before, here's a different angle.

 Of course Quess also has her own BB bazooka.

 FIRE!  Missed the target.

 Let's see if Quess would do any better.  Ready, aim..........

FIRE!..............missed again, I guess this guy is just hard to aim(or i just suck at it).

AMS-119 Geara Doga (Char's counter attack set) ギラ ドーガ

This time, I will formally start the Char's Counter Attack Set. As you might have notice, I built the Jegan on the first review, so it is time to complete the rest.

This set comes with eight MS, and the box art is an SD version of the original movie's poster, the box is huge too, so I was pretty surprised when I got it in mail.

Geara Doga comes in two different color in this set, the purple is a custom machine for some character in the movie, but the two units are identical. They have a pretty impressive arsenal too.

For some reason, Zeon's MS all look bad ass.

I can be use as an axe, a pointy digging tool.

AND swords, I need to get myself one of these for Christmas.

The projectile weapon for them is the shield grenade launcher. Yet another one of my favorite BB senshi weapon. On top of leaving both hands free, it can hold and fire TWO bullets.

Let's see what this baby can do. We will use the Guncannon dummy as the target. Ready, aim.........

FIRE! Missed the first shot due to my poor aim, the second shot knocked dummy off the ground.

The paint job was relatively easy, and the built and weapons are really cool, so this turned out to be a really fun kit to built and play with.
