MSZ-006A1 Zetaplus ゼータプラス

The GG Zeta plus is colored as the Amuro personalized machine.  So this time I will only stick with the Amuro style and leave the rest for another review.

 Zeta Plus does not have any melee weapon, but the smart gun is mounted on his arm, so it actually frees up his hand to hold something.  The big strange piece on the right is the part used for transformation.

 Kits from this era needs to go thru a full dis assembly before transformation can begin.

Amuro's Wave Glider, i like the proportion  of this kit a lot.  I used to own the 1/144 scale zeta plus, but I actually preferred the BB senshi version.

 Looks better with the Smart gun then the shield.

 Aerial attack, the dummy will have to worry about aerial raid from now on.

 Hi it, the missile knocked the dummy to its side.

Standard equipped state for zeta plus in my household.  Can't go to war without a gun.

 Got my hand on the original gray color, added a few water decals on it as well.

Wave Glider mode, the gray color make it look more like a military machine.

 And then I thought, what if I paint it in original Z Gundam color, here's how it look like.

 The wings have different shape, but it can pass as a Z Gundam, sort of.

Wave Glider also looks good in Z Gundam color.  Now he doesn't have to feel sad like in the comic world.

 I think I am done with painting Zeta Plus for a while.

RX-178 Gundam Mk II フルアーマーガンダムMk-II

The G-Generation version of Gundam Mk II is actually a pretty good deal consider what you are getting.  It has the Gundam Mk II, G-Defenser AND the full armor option.  Only a handful of kits have such high play value.

Here's the full arsenal for Mk II.  Red, White and Blue is my favorite combination.

 The old kits do not have many movable joints and so the pose are limited, here's Mk II aiming.

The laser sword is tiny, I guess they wanted to make to to scale.  I like the exaggerated proportion with the later kits better.  

 Here comes the G-Defenser.

 It appears whenever Mk II is in trouble, and then.......

 They combine and transformed to Super Gundam Mk II!  Mk II gains flight ability in this form.

Super Gundam Aiming.

 Getting ready to get into full armor mode, you need to remove the head and loosen the arms a bit, after all, the armor is an add on designed after many many years.

 Full Armor Gundam Mk.  The arm armor is inserted to that tiny needle on Mk II's shoulder, I am afraid it would broke if I am not careful.

 In this form, his arms are about the only thing that can move, and you have to move it very carefully or the connector will snap.

Just in case you noticed, there's no spring loaded gun, and here's the reason why.

We have to shoot G-Defenser's head out.  So ready, aim................

RX-93 v-Gundam νガンダム

Last but not least, v Gundam from the Char's counter attack set.  The G-Generation kit comes with the Fin Funnel.

 Nu Gundam has all the essentials, melee, shield and a BB gun!  This is also one of the very few kits that has the BB Senshi namesake weapon.

 Nu Gundam's front, in my mind, he is always one of the strongest Gundam.  Amuro's person mark is also one of the special perks for the whole set.

 The original kit didn't come with the Fin Funnel, so they have created an extra part to make this work, notice the extension piece on his back.

 It does look more complete with the Fin Funnel.

 The end piece can come out and transform to this attack mode.

 Beam saber, it's the tiny sized type.

 BB bazooka!

 The bazooka can be mount on the back. 

 Time to check the power of the bazooka!

Missed, actually i tried like 7 times and still missed the target, so it's time to give up and leave the dummy alone.
