MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam ΖΖガンダム

This is the ZZ Gundam Rider with the Mega Rider.  ZZ's signature transformation is omitted from this kit, but at this price point, we really shouldn't be expecting THAT much.  However, this does come with the full armor option and I think it is a pretty good touch by the development team.

ZZ's equipment, all the basics are here, the shields are a bit tiny, and there's only two missiles, so make sure you don't lose it.

ZZ from the front, the original color for his body is a pretty ugly looking blue, so I had to paint over everything, but the result was more then worth it.

ZZ from the back.

Double beam launcher.

Hyper beam Saber.

ZZ on the Mega Rider, looks kind of cute, but I am not too passionate about the mega rider so the paint job was rather lackluster.

Full Armor ZZ, the changes included the front armor, arm guard, waist plate...

And the addition wing on the back.

I guess this huge cannon is only suppose to be used in the full armor mode.

Love the way how it looks when it is loaded.

Time to test out the cannon.

Fire!  The bullet is a bit heavy, so it does not fly far, but due to its weight it will definitely knock someone down if hit at the right spot.

MS-18E Kempfer ケンプファー

This is Kampfer from War in the Pocket.  It is one of my favorite MS and it has featured in many video games.  There are many clips on youtube if you just search for War in the Pocket.

True to its original design, Kempfer has no shield and no melee weapon.  The concept of Kempfer is a hit and away MS that ops to do the most damage in the least amount of time.  This kit comes with two spring loaded guns so it has higher fire power then the other kits as well.

Kempfer from the front, I painted the whole kit and left almost no original color this time.

Kempfer from behind.

The Chobham armor is a BB senshi original addition.

AND it can be put together as a supporting mech.

The only close range weapon, chain mine.

In the series, this is what he used to destroy NT-1's Chobum Armor.

Snapshot with the two rivals.

In the animated series, Kempfer lost to NT-1 by surprise.  If he was equipped with the armor, the result might have been different.

Shooting range time!

Missed three shots in a row, yikes.

MS-06F Zaku II ザクII

This time we will introduce Zaku, this is by far the most important supporting character in the Gundam series.  I always liked him for the "realistic" design.  The original BB kit was meant to be the Johnny Ridden's Zaku, GG series changed the coloring to the standard type, but they keep the horn for the captain unit, so I removed it and make this a standard Zaku.

The fully equipped Zaku comes fully equipped and then some, the extra backpack and leg piece is for the Johnny Ridden Variety if you choose to display it as such.

Zaku from the front.

Zaku from the back

Surprisingly, the mono eye is movable!

 Zaku Bazooka!

Mazela Cannon.

Zaku machine gun, this one is the spring loaded weapon for this kit.

Heat hawk.

I remember they use the heat hawk to fight with the beam sable, exactly how it can stop a laser sword is beyond me.
.

Fully equipped with a missile holder in the left arm.

Time for the shooting range.

Knocked down the dummy, this is probably the best shot I have taken to date.

RX-78NT1 Gundam NT1 Alex ガンダムNT1 アレックス

This kit has been released a total of 3 times.  They have revived it in the MUSHA series as a shadow warrior for Musha Alex, and under G-Generation, they changed the spec and made this into GM Custom version.  The kit I got this time is actually the Musha type, but I only bother to put together the NT-1 style.  One day if I get into the mood to do the Musha version, I will make another post for it.

Alex has all the essential items too, the gun, beam saber and shield.  Plus he has the Chobham Armor!  A 300 Yen kit with this kind of play value is a steal!

Alex and his huge beam rifle, it has a spring gimmick, so that's why it is so big.

 Alex and his beam saber.

 Alex from behind.

Chobham Armor!  You can just snap on the whole armor without taking Alex apart, which is a huge plus.  The face mask is a BB senshi original design.  I can see why they call him cardboard box Gundam.

 Chobham armor from the back.

I just played the Gundam Extreme VS series, they have really made Alex a weak unit, when he is in his Chobham Armor form, all he can do is punching and kicking, so sad.  So here it goes, ALEX PUNCH!

At the shooting range, this is the only gun that I didn't use the stronger spring, it was meant to be a test, but I couldn't dis assemble the gun afterward........

GAN~~~~ I guess I will spare him of more embarrassment for battle readiness.
