GF13-017NJ Shining Gundam シャイニングガンダム

This one is the Shining Gundam from the original BB senshi series.  When I first started this project, the G-Gundam series were not included in my list because the G-Generation line's Shining Gundam did not have a spring loaded gun, which made sense because they didn't really use any firearms in the animation neither.  One day, when i was looking at other BB Senshi blogs in Korea, I noticed Dragon Gundam actually had two spring loaded weapons, so that got me to look up the rest of the cast.  It turned out all of the Mobile fighters in the BB senshi seires had a spring loaded weapon and a set of original crystal armor.  After knowing this, naturally I had to get them.  The search was not an easy one, I went back to Hong Kong and got Dragon Gundam and Gundam Maxter, and by luck they re-released Shining Gundam and God Gundam in Japan so I was able to get them from Hobby Link Japan and Hobby Search, so NOW my collection is completed.  :-D

The weapon set is a lacking a shield, but it makes up the lost with a lot of other additions.

Core Lander, this is the heart of a mobile fighter, without it the MF is just a robot with no pilot.

Shining Gundam's Core Lander can open up its canopy.

Gundam Fight!  Ready, Go!  Shining Gundam from the back.

Shining Gundam from the front, this is his normal mode.

The beam saber is made with clear plastic, I like these kind of special material parts.

Super Mode!

The Mobile Fighters have one poly cap on their arm, this give them a whole new dimension of movement compare to previous kits.

Upper cut, but their arms are short, so it looks like he's just flexing.

Of course a Mobile Fighter can kick!

This is the spring loaded weapon, it's suppose to be a stun gun.

BB Senshi origina, Hyper Crystal Mode!

HCM from behind, the wing gave it a very fancy look.

The crystal parts can be mounted on the stun gun and becomes a support mecha.

Time to test the fire power.

Fire!  The clear plastic bullet is heavier then anticipated, so it didn't do much damage.

But Shining Gundam is a MF, of course he will finish the dummy off with close quarter attack!

F91 ガンダムF91

This one is the G-Generation version of F91.  there are some minor change compare to the old BB senshi such as the extendable VSBR and the omitted shoulder heat sink for the heavy weapon mode.

F91's arsenal has all the essentials and then some.  Both his handheld projectiles have spring loaded gimmick and he has the power VSBR on his back that are also spring loaded guns, this gives him a total of 4 spring loaded weapons!

F91 from the front, I didn't like the silver sticker that comes with the kit so I hand painted the shoulder markings and completely screwed it up. >_<

F91 from behind.  Opps, I never intend to use the normal VSBR so I forgot to finish the paint job, hahaha.

As the box described, the VSBR are extendable.

The flexible waist allows F91 to strike more poses.  Too bad the Beam Shield doesn't come in clear materials.  I wonder what happens if someone strike the shield in the center.

Beam Saber!

Beam Rifle.

Beam Cannon, it seems all of F91's weapon are laser beam based.

F91 light equipment mode!  Actually it is just him without the shoulder pads.

These are the power VSBR, it has the spring gimmick and looks stronger then the regular one.

Face Open mode, this is how F91 looks when he enters full power mode.

The idea of a Gundam with 4 guns is too attractive to me, so I got a few extra ones.  X-D  This one I painted it in metallic color.  I think it matches him pretty well.

Freedom Full Burst Mode!?

and that's the conclusion of this review.

Except it is not, shooting range time!

The bullet is a little big, but still flew pretty well.  hard to get an accurate aim tho.

RX-78-2 Gundam G-Armor ガンダム Gアーマー

This is the G-Generation G Armor kit.  I had a few kits with a base RX-78 so I wanted to paint them in different color, after a few minutes search on the internet, I found this:

This looks like a nice variation so I painted the G-Armor in this style.

For 500 yen, this kit is a steal!  Look at all the weapons that comes with it!  Beam Saber, Beam Rifle, Beam Cannons, TWO shields and plenty of ammo!  Please ignore the core fighter, I just haven't found the desire to paint it.

Gundam from the front.

Gundam from the back.

The beam rifle is but due to the spring gimmick, personally I think this is fine because it is suppose to be SUPER deformed(SD).

Beam Saber.

The shield is so big, it almost covers the whole body.  Unlike previous kits, this Gundam has a flexable waist, so you can twist it and strike a few more new pose.

Enters the G-Fighter.

The Cannon can change it's yaw and pitch for your aiming and posing pleasure.

Of course Gundam can stand on top of G-Fighter, but it's a bit unstable as he is standing on the double fin in the back.

Parts to change G-Armor in different forms, we need to remove the antenna so Gundam's head can fit it.

G-Bull, no idea what is the use of this.  I guess it is cool that it looks like a tank.

Gundam Mobile Armor mode.  They used this to fight Zakrello.

G-Armor, this thing is called G-Armor when the Gundam is inside and G-Fighter when stand alone.

You can peek from the side and see Gundam sleeping inside.

BB Senshi original form G-Buster.

Taking aim in the G-Armor mode.  This seems a bit over killed for an unarmed opponent, but such is the fate of a target dummy. (;_;)

Fire, only one out of three bullet hit, the dummy has a really lucky day.
