RX-78NT1 Gundam NT1 Alex ガンダムNT1 アレックス

This kit has been released a total of 3 times.  They have revived it in the MUSHA series as a shadow warrior for Musha Alex, and under G-Generation, they changed the spec and made this into GM Custom version.  The kit I got this time is actually the Musha type, but I only bother to put together the NT-1 style.  One day if I get into the mood to do the Musha version, I will make another post for it.

Alex has all the essential items too, the gun, beam saber and shield.  Plus he has the Chobham Armor!  A 300 Yen kit with this kind of play value is a steal!

Alex and his huge beam rifle, it has a spring gimmick, so that's why it is so big.

 Alex and his beam saber.

 Alex from behind.

Chobham Armor!  You can just snap on the whole armor without taking Alex apart, which is a huge plus.  The face mask is a BB senshi original design.  I can see why they call him cardboard box Gundam.

 Chobham armor from the back.

I just played the Gundam Extreme VS series, they have really made Alex a weak unit, when he is in his Chobham Armor form, all he can do is punching and kicking, so sad.  So here it goes, ALEX PUNCH!

At the shooting range, this is the only gun that I didn't use the stronger spring, it was meant to be a test, but I couldn't dis assemble the gun afterward........

GAN~~~~ I guess I will spare him of more embarrassment for battle readiness.

MSA-001 S-Gundam Sガンダム

This is the MS appeared in the series Gundam Sentinel. The full name is Superior Gundam.  This BB senshi kit comes with all the parts that allows you to change it to the Ex-S Gundam and the booster mode.
S gundam and his arsenal, this guy doesn't have a shield, but the sword is in white and the smart gun is in black, so that makes my painting life easy.

The color distribution of the original kit is done very nicely, the painting process for the whole unit was actually quiet pleasant.

The smart gun is huge, so it makes it look pretty strong when it is armed.

 The famous laser sword.
 S Gundam's back
Ex-S Gundam from the front.  Notice the center console is different(and I didn't bother to paint it, because i do not like the round piece between his crotch). X-D

 Ex-S Gundam from behind.

S Gundam booster mode from the front.

S Gundam booster mode from the back, I didn't know all 8 boosters are on until I look at the manual.

This is the "extra" that comes with the G Generation version, it's a G-Fighter with booster.

To the shooting range again, ready, aim..........

Fire!  ??? wow, the bullet didn't bounce when it hits him.  Probably hit a spot that really hurts.

PF-78 Perfect Gundam パーフェクトガンダム

This is actually the G-Generation fully equipped version to be exact, and they are not kidding when they say fully equipped.

I have painted this Gundam in red because I have multiple kits with Gundam in it, I want to paint them in different colors so I can have different versions, and the first that came to my mind is the 2P coloring I saw in the old SD Gundam game from back in the days.  The Gundam with original coloring will be here some day.

The red color actually looks pretty good.  Here's 2P Gundam from the front.

Taking aim, the shield is TINY, i can see they want to keep things in scale, but it was such a pain to color it.

Bazooka, I should've painted the barrel opening black.

Melee weapon, laser sword and Beam Javelin, it looks more like a Trident to me.

Last but not least, ball with chain!  X-D

Getting ready for the full armor mode.  You need to take apart everything to dress the armor.

All parts ready, the material on these kits are so fragile, I broke the hand armor already when i try to take it off.

 Perfect! Gundam.
 Posing with the beam rifle.

The spring loaded weapon for PG is the shoulder cannon, which means we can give him other weapons on his hands if we want in the future.

Aiming at our test Zaku.    And fire!
Hit!  The bullet flies in good speed due to its small size.

MSZ-006A1 Zetaplus ゼータプラス

The GG Zeta plus is colored as the Amuro personalized machine.  So this time I will only stick with the Amuro style and leave the rest for another review.

Zeta Plus does not have any melee weapon, but the smart gun is mounted on his arm, so it actually frees up his hand to hold something.  The big strange piece on the right is the part used for transformation.

Zeta Plus as show on the box art(kind of).

Kits from this era needs to go thru a full dis assembly before transformation can begin.

Transformed!  The had and the arms are left overs.

Amuro's Wave Glider, i like the proportion  of this kit a lot.  I used to own the 1/144 scale zeta plus, but I actually preferred the BB senshi version.

Looks better with the Smart gun then the shield.

 Missile loaded.

Aerial attack, the dummy will have to worry about aerial raid from now on.

Hi it, the missile knocked the dummy to its side.

Standard equipped state for zeta plus in my household.  Can't go to war without a gun.

Got my hand on the original gray color, added a few water decals on it as well.

 Zeta Plus from behind.
Wave Glider mode, the gray color make it look more like a military machine.

And then I thought, what if I paint it in original Z Gundam color, here's how it look like.

The wings have different shape, but it can pass as a Z Gundam, sort of.

Wave Glider also looks good in Z Gundam color.  Now he doesn't have to feel sad like in the comic world.

I think I am done with painting Zeta Plus for a while.

Flight squad.
